Who it is for

This programme is for you if…

PGT is aimed at practitioners who want to join the international community of certified psychedelic guides ahead of legislative change in Europe.

01

Psychotherapists and psychologists

You want to extend your practice with protocols for working with altered states of consciousness. MBPT is a clinical system built on NMHA — recognised by regulators in the USA.

02

Psychiatrists and physicians

Clinical screening, the neurobiology of psychedelics, safety protocols and crisis management — from a medical and clinical perspective, not a popular-science one.

03

Facilitators and coaches

You want to work legally in countries where psychedelic therapy is regulated — Oregon, Colorado. NMHA/OHA certification is a regulatory requirement there.

04

Personal development specialists

You are looking for a programme that brings together somatic practice, Trauma-Informed Care and Therapeutic Presence in one certified training.

05

People planning a career in psychedelic therapy

You are ahead of legislative change in Europe. PGT is the only European training that meets current NMHA/OHA requirements, and the first cohorts will have the advantage.

06

Experienced practitioners looking for a system

You have experience with psychedelics or work with medical cannabis. You want to stop working intuitively and build on a specific, clinically recognised protocol.

Curriculum

What you will learn

The MBPT protocol, Trauma-Informed Care, somatic work and legal medical cannabis — a coherent clinical system rather than a set of unconnected techniques.

Programme structure

Four phases. One coherent system.

Online materials → live webinars with Daniel → a six-day Intensive in Warsaw → Therapeutic Presence with Alison. Over 177 hours of training in total.

Phase I

Online materials — the PSS platform

Available after successful admission · 57h+

PSS series 1–4 on the Psychedelic Sitters School platform, meeting NMHA requirements. Around 39h of webinars plus 20h of asynchronous material. Access opens as soon as you are admitted to the programme.

Phase II

Live webinars with Daniel McQueen

12 sessions × 2h = 24h

The MBPT protocol taught in real time by Daniel McQueen. Six classes at weekends plus two office-hours sessions.

Phase III

Six-day in-person Intensive

Warsaw · taught in Polish

Practical, supervised work: neurobiology, bodywork, clinical screening, crisis management. Led in Polish by Piotr Matejuk and the SACRUM team.

Phase IV

Therapeutic Presence & Trauma-Informed Care

6 sessions · 12h

Alison McQueen — transpersonal psychotherapist, Naropa University. NMHA Modules D+F: working with trauma, therapeutic presence, and Trauma-Informed Psychedelic Care protocols.

Faculty

Three perspectives. One standard.

Clinical experience, years of supervision, scientific publications and practice under legal protocols in the USA — in one training.

Frequently asked questions

What is worth knowing before you apply

01What language is the programme taught in?

Phases I, II and IV (the webinars with the McQueens) are taught in English — B2+ is required. The in-person Intensive (Phase III, Warsaw) is taught in Polish by Piotr Matejuk and the SACRUM team. If you do not speak Polish, write to us before applying so we can tell you honestly how that affects your participation. The PSS platform materials are in English.

02Is the use of medical cannabis compulsory?

Entirely optional. It is recommended for people who hold a legal prescription. Breathwork sessions offer transformative experiences without any substance — fully sufficient to complete the training and obtain the certificate.

03After the training, can I legally work as a guide in Poland?

Polish law does not yet provide for a regulated practice of psychedelic therapy. The PGT certificate prepares you to work in Oregon and Colorado (it meets NMHA/OHA requirements) and for future legislative change in Poland and Europe.

04Do I need prior experience with psychedelics?

It is not required. The programme is designed for beginners and for experienced practitioners alike. What matters is a commitment to personal development and a readiness to work on yourself.

05What does the programme cost, and could that change for the 2027 edition?

The first European edition (2026) came to $2,850 in total (a $100 admissions interview, $1,080 for the main programme and $1,670 for the Intensive), paid in stages. That is a reference point for the Summer 2027 edition — we will confirm the exact fee structure before applications open in January 2027.

06Why do applications only open in January 2027?

We run the programme in partnership with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness and the Psychedelic Sitters School in the USA, and the schedule for the next edition is agreed jointly with them. People on our contact list hear the details first, before any public announcement.

An important boundary

A PGT certificate is not yet a licence to practise in Poland.

Polish law does not yet provide for a regulated practice of psychedelic therapy. The programme prepares you to work in US states where such practice is legal (Oregon, Colorado), and for future legislative change in Poland and Europe.
