What it actually is
Medical cannabis has been legal in Poland since 2017, but the route to obtaining it can be counter-intuitive and the rules keep changing — at the end of 2024 they were tightened, introducing among other things a requirement for in-person medical qualification. The cost of regular therapy, with no reimbursement from the national health fund, is usually several hundred to over a thousand złoty a month.
SACRUM is not a medical entity, does not qualify anyone for treatment with medical cannabis and does not issue prescriptions — that lies solely within a doctor's competence. What we offer is advisory: we help you understand the process, prepare questions for your doctor and assess whether your situation may qualify for a further medical conversation.
For people who already hold a valid prescription, qualification is also the natural entry point into the CAPT process — structured therapy that uses medical cannabis as a tool supporting therapeutic work.
