What it actually is
Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy is a therapeutic process that uses medical cannabis as a tool supporting psychotherapeutic work — not as a treatment in its own right. A valid prescription issued by an authorised doctor is a condition of participation; SACRUM does not qualify anyone for treatment, does not issue prescriptions and does not supply any product.
The process runs in four phases: screening and qualification, preparation, the session itself, and integration. Each phase has its own purpose and none can be skipped without risk to safety and to the quality of the work.
The session itself usually lasts 6–8 hours and takes place with the facilitator continuously and directly present — never alone.

Work with the facilitator continuously present, in a space prepared in advance, towards a goal agreed in advance.
